Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a highly specialized technique that can be used to treat many injuries and pathologies.

It can be performed as a preventative technique that bolsters our bodies' ability to rejuvenate and resist all types of stress.

MLD not only stimulates the vital functions of the skin, tissues and internal organs, but also serves to eliminate cellular waste and stimulate the parasympathetic relaxation response inhibiting muscle tonus and pain.

It provides an excellent tool for massage therapists when regular massage is contraindicated.

This unique training course covers the many dimensions of Manual Lymphatic Drainage:

  • All areas of the body will be reviewed and students will be provided with an understanding of the lymphatic system and the implications and complications that are associated with MLD.
  • Illustration for students from a clinical perspective on how to achieve complete evacuation of lymph nodes and thus achieve complete drainage to specific areas.
  • Review of current research in the area and the efficacy of MLD within this research
  • Demonstration of exact area specific sequences including amount of pressure applied and examination of "0 pressure" points within these

By the end of this single day you will have reviewed all sequences and revisited the essential theory as well. This extra study day will inform your practice, refine your skills and build your confidence in the delivery and execution of an excellent MLD treatment.

Day 1: Teaches the unique qualities of Kinesio Tex Tape and its method related to human anatomy. Attendees will practice epidermis, fascia and muscle applications to the body, educating you how to relax overuse syndromes, stimulate weak muscles, and decrease pain and swelling.

Day 2: Advanced will teach you six Corrective Technique (Mechanical, Functional, Space, Fascia, Ligament/Tendon, and Lymphatic) applications for treatment of a variety of clinical conditions and dysfunction related to the spine and extremities. Attendees will be able to perform the techniques and applications for treatment of pain, spasm, swelling, weakness, joint mobility and stability related to orthopedic & neurological conditions. Our curriculum reflects 25 years of educational seminars, symposiums, forums and professional sharing among tens of thousands of professionals.

7 Step Concussion Protocol

In order to facilitate the reduction of brain injury symptoms, concussion therapy is emerging as a necessary technique in the manual therapy field to meet the demands of the growing number of reported concussions.  This three-day course offers a practical and straightforward approach to treating a head injury, balance issues, and strokes.  Utilizing manual fascial release techniques help athletes return to play, and patients return to their normal daily functioning.

This course demonstrates the contribution of fascia, Myofascial restrictions, cranial sacral system, lymphatic system and the brain itself has on head injury. Focusing on how to release these structures, and how to serve to alleviate a patient’s symptoms.  This three-day intensive consists of practical hands-on activities, increasing the practitioners listening skills and palpation skills. Lectures on theory, anatomy, contraindications will be given; focusing on how the head injury affects the quality of life and performance.  This course is a result driven program; the treatments can be done in 30 minutes or an hour.
